Similar to the way that AIDb Score provides a quick aggregate of a product’s reputation and relevance, Sway is a metric that contributors to the AIDb platform can build over time to show their influence and reliability. This helps to distinguish the signal of real users that engage with products more deeply.

Because it is a marker of influence, Sway is also dynamic and will grow according to the consistency and usefulness of a contributor’s activity to the AIDb platform over time. There are a number of factors that feed into each contributor’s Sway, including:

An important element of Sway is that it helps us determine which users are adding information to AIDb that is most useful for people. By doing so, we can also enable project teams to connect with users based on their Sway and create a bridge between the wider AI community and product developers.
